Cyberpunk 2077 is available to preload now, and players have discovered a cute Keanu Reeves Easter egg if they try to launch the game early through GOG Galaxy.
Posted to Reddit by user jmendo02, once you boot up the game after preloading it via the GOG Galaxy service, you’ll see a landfill vista. You’ll then get a very cheeky line from Reeves’ Johnny Silverhand, who says “Go back to sleep, Samurai! It’s not December 10th yet.”
We’re sure this tongue-in-cheek easter egg won’t make it any easier for the fans waiting for the game’s official launch later this week, but it’s a cute nod nonetheless from CD Projekt Red.
AlexEnMadrid in the comments on Reddit mentioned that it was a missed opportunity to use the yellow screen favored by Cyberpunk 2077’s Twitter presence to announce delays, but we think that would’ve been far too cruel…
