As our month-long IGN First coverage of Disintegration rolls on, today we’re looking at another slice of gameplay in the form of a full mission from around midway through the single-player campaign.

By this point in the story, Romer has expanded his team with several new squad members, like the devastatingly brutish Six-Oh-Two and upgraded to a heavy chassis Gravcycle complete with twin cannons that deliver area damage with each shell impact. You can see it all in action in the video above.

We also get our first taste of several new Rayonne enemy forces: drones that attack from the air, juggernaut-like armatures, gravcycles, and one particularly mammoth spider-tank mini-boss that sends bolts of plasma crackling through the air.

If you’re hungry for more gameplay from V1 Interactive’s sci-fi strategy shooter, you can check out an earlier campaign mission or read and watch our full Disintegration hands-on preview. You’ll also be able to get a better sense of the world by checking out our preview on Disintegration’s chief antagonist, a ruthless, cunning Rayonne commander called Black Shuck.

And if you missed it, you’ll be able to get your hands on the team-based multiplayer if you sign up for the Disintegration multiplayer beta that arrives later this month.

For much more on V1 Interactive’s latest, stay tuned to IGN all month long as we continue to deep dive into Disintegration as part of IGN First.
