The lead up to Master Chief’s journey in Halo 5 Guardians was as neat as it was confusing. My questions about the goofy cloak over Master Chief’s armor were quickly eclipsed by the excitement brought by the menace that waited for him in the sand in Halo 5’s reveal trailer. From there, things got creative. We learned about Locke’s hunt for the Chief and his collaboration with the Arbitor at E3 2014. There was even an incredible audio series recounting the Chief’s journey from the respective of a reporter and a rebel leader. Regardless of how Halo 5 turned out, the lead up to it was a fun way to get to know the Chief better. E3 is approaching, and with Microsoft talking so much about it being one of its biggest shows ever, I have high expectations for information on Halo Infinite.
