Epic Games appears to be teasing Fortnite’s next big in-game event, as a huge purple cube has appeared on the map.
More precisely, the cube was zapped into existence by the giant rift in the sky. The rift had grown back to its original size after spending time shrinking every day, but it finally disappeared today right after blasting down a bolt of lightning that turned into the cube.
Twitter’s @LootLakeBR captured footage of the event as it happened, while @FortniteBR grabbed the below screenshot of the cube.
