Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Blackout beta will begin September 10 on PlayStation 4.
The beta for the battle royale mode will include solo, duo, and quad modes, Activision announced on Twitter. The beta will be available first on PlayStation 4, with “other platforms to follow.”
On Reddit, developer Treyarch also confirmed the Blackout beta will be released as an update to the previous Black Ops 4 beta file, eliminating the need for players to re-download the full client come September.
Black Ops 4 will be released on October 12 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
