Epic has released the official patch notes for Fortnite’s big Season 5 update just as downtime goes into effect.

The map is indeed getting an update with a new desert biome, although it’s not yet clear if this covers the entire map or just a portion. Paradise Palms and Lazy Links are the two latest named locations to join the map.

A new vehicle named the All Terrain Kart (ATK) is being added and will fit your entire squad. Rear passengers can lean back and release at the same time to help leap over jumps and obstacles. The roof of the new vehicle acts as a bounce pad.
