For two years running now, this series of TVs has topped IGN’s lists of best TV for gaming and best high-end TV. And judging by early reviews of the LG C2, that’s not likely to change this year. This is absolutely going to be one of the best TVs for PS5 and Xbox Series X, so here’s how to can save big on the new model.

Get Up to £300 Cashback on New LG OLED 4K TVs

The new C2 model is a jaw-dropping example of everything you could want from a TV. With a brilliant OLED display and full HDR vibrant colours. There’s also “pixel-level dimming,” which allows for absolute blacks — as in, the LEDs in the display can turn off entirely so no light seeps out anywhere. There are also four HDMI 2.1 ports and a 120Hz native refresh rate, therefore it can render everything the PS5 and Xbox Series X can throw at it.

So, here’s how the cashback deal works. You can get £300 back on the 83″ and 77″ models, £200 back on the 65″ and 55″ models, and £100 back on the 48″ and 42″ models. This means that after you’ve bought the TV, you’ll get a little back, normally within 30-days of the original purchase. This is effectively a discount, but with a small delay.

My favourite offer from the bunch is on the C2 55″, as overall you’re getting an 11% saving from the cashback, compared to around 7-8% saving on the other sizes.

Perfect for PS5: Why the LG OLED C2?

Not only does the C2 series have a new OLED evo panel, making it one of the most advanced picture quality ever, it also comes packed with Dolby Vision IQ for a true-to-life picture, alongside Dolby Atmos for incredible immersive sound. OLED screens are a whole new ball game, and I’m not kidding when I say that it can completely change your gaming experience. HDR graphics are great on a 4K display, but OLED alongside it simply takes it up another level. Those who have tried the Switch OLED know exactly what I mean, even if that’s just on a small screen.

Moreover, one of the big parts of next-gen gaming is 4K 120Hz capabilities. With your PS5 or Xbox Series X, you’re provided with an ultrafast HDMI 2.1 cable, that is intrinsic to getting the absolute most out of your console for the next five or more years. If you want to play Call of Duty, Destiny 2, Fortnite, and more at the highest settings, you need a TV with HDMI 2.1 ports.

Thankfully, LG C2 TVs have at least four 2.1 ports, so that’s covered for you. HDMI 2.1 can be quite rare on standard 4K TVs, which is why it’s probably better to pay a little bit more, and get the full OLED setup as well.

What LG 4K TV Should I Get?

Despite me gushing over the C2 series in the cashback deal, you can actually get any of the new 2022 range from LG as part of the deal, and that not only includes the new C2 range, but also the new G2, Z2, and A2 series, and a whole lot more as well. The choice of what TV you get is ultimately up to you. Obviously, we highly recommend the new C2 series for gaming, but make sure you do the research and choose what will be the right TV for your setup.

As an example, you might want the smallest OLED 4K TV possible, and the new C2 series has you covered with a 42-inch OLED screen (which, in all honestly, could work just as well as a big gaming monitor on your desk instead.) So, make sure to explore the whole 2022 range of TVs before making your decision.
