In the wake of the ongoing global pandemic affecting so many, we have made the difficult decision to push back the release of The Delicious Last Course. The studio cites the global pandemic as having an impact on the development of the final Cuphead DLC. “Rather than compromise on our vision in response to COVID,” the team ultimately decided on pushing it back.
The Delicious Last Course is slated to be a conclusion to the story that began with Cuphead. The DLC was announced in 2018 and was originally scheduled for a 2019 release before getting delayed into 2020. Now it has been delayed once more, though the external factor of the pandemic played a part in the most recent delay.
There’s no release date for the Delicious Last Course, though the studio says it’s aiming for 2021. In the meantime, check out IGN’s Cuphead review.
