Season 4 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone launched last night, June 10, and we now have the full details on what changes have come with this new update, including the addition of Captain Price as a new operator.

One of the new updates to Warzone adds “twists” to each match. The first of these twists is the Fire Sale that temporarily discounts most of the items at a Buy Station up to 80% or may even make items free. In addition, bringing back teammates is completely free during one of these Fire Sales. These sales last 60 seconds and Loadout Drops are not discounted.

The second twist is a non-lethal, but heavily armored Supply Chopper that can be destroyed for high quality items like three UAVS, two armor boxes and munitions boxes, a gas mask, a grenade launcher, and tons of Cash at a minimum. The Supply Chopper may not shoot at players, but it is sure to draw a crowd.

The last twist is Jailbreak, an event that will release all eliminated players back into a match. There will be a one-minute notice before a Jailbreak occurs, and it can happen at any point during the middle of the game, as with the other twists. It’s important to know that these twists can occur during a match, but that doesn’t mean they always will.

There will also be three limited Warzone Modes debuting in Season 4 – Juggernaut Royale, Realism, and Warzone Rumble.

Juggernaut Royale is a Battle Royale mode variant and will bring in Multiplayer’s Juggernaut suit into the battle via three airdropped care packages. Those who wear the suit will have “higher health, a mini-gun, and a sweet music track to accompany you during the Warzone match.”

Realism follows the same rules as Multiplayer’s Realism and features a minimal HUD and increased headshot damage.

Warzone Rumble is a 50v50 Team Deathmatch that shakes up the Warzone formula and varies up a traditional match.

Season 4 also will bring three new maps that are completely free to all players in Multiplayer, Ground War, and Gunfight.

Zhokov Scrapyard is the new map for Standard Multiplayer and is a returning map from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Barakett Promenade will be available for Ground War players and will be familiar territory for Warzone players. Gunfight players will be able to jump into Trench, which is, unsurprisingly, a “network of interconnected trenches.”

Three new modes will also be added during season 4, including Team Defender, One in the Chamber, and All or Nothing.

The new Battle Pass will offer all players two new weapons for free – the Fennec SMG (Tier 15) and the CR-56 AMAX assault rifle (Tier 31), and players can earn a Legendary assault rifle blueprint (Blank Stare), a Legendary watch, an SUV vehicle sking, a Legendary sniper blueprint (Brookside), a Legendary handgun (Gavel), and much more.

Additionally, those who purchase the Battle Pass will unlock Captain Price and his Operator Missions instantly at Tier 0. An Operator skin and Mission for Rodion, a new battle horn customization item, and a 10% XP boost that lasts the Season will also be unlocked. If players can make their way to Tier 100, they can unlock Captain Price’s NVG-look with the “Nightfall” skin.

Speaking of the battle horn, this new item will allow for players to use such themes as the “Ride of the Valkyries” as they charge into a fight, achieve a victory, or just for fun.

Lastly, Operators Sgt. Kyle ‘Gaz’ Garrick and Roze will be arriving later in Season 4 for purchase.
