Though developer CD Projekt Red has been quiet on the hacking mechanisms in Cyberpunk 2077, a social media interaction has revealed a bit of what we can expect from the full game.
As reported by PlayStation Lifestyle, Reddit user bboymurchant posted a conversation he had with the official Cyberpunk 2077 Facebook account. He asked how hacking works in the game.
“Netrunning will definitely be an important part of the game, but I can’t tell you much about it,” the account replied. “What I can say is that, gameplay-wise, you’ll be able to hack systems to help you during missions, open doors, distract enemies, etc. You’ll also be able to gain knowledge that you will use to your advantage — locations of interesting places and so on.”
