CD Projekt Red has announced that they have established a long-term partnership with Digital Scapes and the focus will be on CD Projekt’s upcoming title, Cyberpunk 2077.
Digital Scapes was founded by industry veterans that once worked at such studios as BioWare, Radical Entertainment, and Relic.
In the past, Digital Scapes team members worked on “blockbuster game series like Company of Heroes, Warhammer 40,000, Dying Light, Prototype, and more.”

“Cyberpunk 2077 is our most ambitious project to date and we work hard every day to make it a creative and technological achievement.” Michał Nowakowsi, SVP Business Development of CD Projekt Red said. “The Digital Scapes team brings aboard a lot of talent, experience and technical knowledge, and I’m very confident our long-term cooperation will add plenty to the game.”

CD Projekt Red will be partnering with Digital Scapes as they work on “creating and optimizing technological solutions for use in the development of Cyberpunk 2077.”
Cyberpunk 2077 was re-revealed during Microsoft’s press conference at E3 2018 and press were able to see a behind closed door demo at E3 and Gamescom.
In late August, CD Projekt released the Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay demo to the public and the developers spoke on why they waited so long to show the demo to a broader audience.
While we don’t have a release date for the highly-anticipated title, we do know that WB Games will distribute Cyberpunk 2077 in North America and that they will “bring the game to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.”
Additionally, while it isn’t out of the realm of possibility that Cyberpunk 2077 will also release on next-generation hardware, we know that PS4 and Xbox One won’t be left behind when CD Projekt’s first title following The Witcher franchise releases.
